Keratin Express is to a "traditional" treatment like a semi permanent hair color is to a permanent color.
Keratin Extra and Plus does contain a small amount of formaldehyde which allows the service to work.
The treatments take as little as 45 minutes , based on average hair length and density. The Extra is for finer hair and lasts 4-6 week. The Plus is for coarse hair and lasts 10-12 weeks.
Wavy hair will be straight; curly/frizzy hair will be smoother with up to 100% less frizz and possible curl reduction between 10-30% ! Blow dry time will be cut in half !

COLOR MAINTENANCE
After investing in your color/ highlights I recommend using quality hair products to maintain your new color !
Professional products may cost more upfront but are concentrated and if used properly will last you longer than over the counter products !
After your color I suggest waiting at least 48 hours before shampooing. This allows the cuticle to close .
Cooler water and less shampooing will help keep your color from washing down the drain !
Invest in a shower cap, hair turban ,a good dry shampoo and a colored shampoo or conditioner to maintain your color in between visits !
Gloss's last about 20 plus shampoo's or 6 weeks .
A recommended maintenance gloss would be every 6 weeks but a colored shampoo or conditioner can stretch salon visits !
Always use a styling product when using your hot tools ! Turn down the heat ! Thermal damage will dry your hair and your color will fade quickly !

There are many dry shampoo's on the market.
I prefer Verb ! Verb has two different types of dry shampoo. A powder that has a pointy nozzle for easy application. I love this for extra body too ! This one is great but you must make sure you blend the powder in well !
They also have a spray ! This one feels cold and wet but dries in a second and is very user friendly ! It also comes in a shade of tan for brunette's !
