Balayage is a French word meaning hand swept or hand painting.

 If you prefer a natural, soft sun kissed look with a low maintenance grow out then this may be a perfect  technique for you ! It does leave a warmer finish than traditional foils so if you do not like warmth then a lived in look may be an option for you ! With the lived in look I use foils to lift your hair lighter than if I do an open air hand painted technique. To blend away traditional foil lines I apply a color melt . A darker gloss at your roots blended into a lighter gloss at your ends that will add the neutral to cool finish you desire !

 Teasy lights or baby lights may also be an option if you are looking for a rooty look with less maintenance !
